Hope everybody doing great.
And here one competition is on board , as we know Our Oriya community celebrates New year . A sweet concoction( mixture of other ingredients) known as pana is prepared and distributed among one and all.
Meaning of Pana. (Pana is prepared by mixing different types of fruits, water, milk, pulp of bela optional, curd and sugar/mishri etc.).
So we plan to make a competition of best home made pana. So this will held on April 12th to 15th .
While posting please use #bestpana with procedure .
Winner will declare on 17th of April .

Mango Pana / Aam Pana by Pallabi Biswal
*Mango Pana / Aam Pana*
2 raw mangoes
2 tsp Salt (or to taste)
4 tbsp sugar (more if mangoes are sour)
1 tsp roasted cumin seeds
1 pinch cracked pepper
Mint for garnish
1. Wash and scrub the mangoes. Boil them. (pressure cooker for 1 whistle.)
Take mangoes out, let cool, cut and take all pulp out.
2. In a “moti chalni” (sieve with big holes), strain the pulp well.
3. To this pulp, add 4
cups water, salt, sugar, mix well. Now, add cumin and pepper. Mix well.
Chill and serve. Garnish with mint spring.
