Malai kofta by Rajshree Patnaik

Malai kofta curry a rich & creamy
absolutely delicious cottage cheese….

Ingredients :

paneer-1cup, little cornflour, salt, garam masala.
Boiled onion paste – 1 large, Ginger 1/2 inch, poppy seeds – 1/2tsp,cashew nuts-5nos.,Melon seeds 1/2 tsp, pepper corn-8to10,cinnamon – 1 inch,cardamon – 2 green,cloves – 2 nos,a pinch sahijeera,

For gravy :
oil+butter – 3 tblspn, Coriander powder-1tsp,fresh milk cream-2tblsp,
kasoori methi, salt & sugar as per taste.

Procedure :

1.Mix paneer, cornflour, salt, garam masala & make a medium sized balls then deep fry till light brown.
2.Heat oil+butter in a pan then add masala paste cook till the gravy turns thick. Then add Coriander pwd, kasoori methi, fresh milk cream, salt, sugar saute for a few minutes
3.Then add 1/2cup milk. Add kofta in gravy.
4.After 2-3 minutes switch off the gas and serve hot.

Note:u can even shallow fry the kofta in tawa
instead of deep frying….
