Recipe of Gatta Curry – Rajasthani Food Recipe By Krishna Banerji Shona

Ingredients

Besan : 250 grams
Mustard oil – 1 tbs
Curd -100 ml
Ghee -1 tbs
Red chili powder -as like
Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
Salt according to taste
Jeera powder -1 tbs
Ajvain -1/4 tsp
Hing – a pinch
Dry mint -a pinch
Garlic paste -1 tbs ( optional )

Method

First we take besan. Add mustard oil, Salt turmeric powder, ajvain and red chili powder. Mixed it properly until it comes soft. Now ads water and make a tight dough. Keep aside.
Now we make curry.

First mixed all masala and salt in curd. Blind it.
Now heat a kadahi add water. When water boiled. Make roll from besan dough.
Add gatta roll in boiling water.
Now heat another kadahi. Add ghee. Add ajvain hing and garlic paste. When it comes golden add curd mixture. Now boiled it until it leaves ghee.
Our gatta ready in 15 minutes. Now cuts it in round shape. Now add gatta in masala. Fry it.
Now add water ( jisme gatta boil kiya vo pani )
Cooked it 5-8 minutes.
It is ready now.
Serve it. Sprinkle dry mint leaves .
